Baby Gorilla™ 5th Metatarsal Plating System
The Baby Gorilla™ 5th Metatarsal Plating System includes three unique
styles of 5th metatarsal fracture specific plating options including
two styles of hook plates (avulsion and Jones) as well as a compression
style non-hooked plate.
The hook plates contain sharp hooks allowing the plate to grab the proximal
fragments and help secure them back to the bone.
Additionally, this system includes instrumentation such as templates and tamps
allowing optimal plate placement to help seat hooks if needed for reduced
prominence, and to ensure hook engagement with bone.
These plates compliment the Baby Gorilla™ Mini plating System.
The Baby Gorilla™ Mini Plating System is a comprehensive foot and ankle
specific plating system that includes an expansive offering of over 65
unique plates all accommodating both 2.0 mm and 2.5 mm locking and non-locking
variable angle plate screws.
In addition, the Baby Gorilla™ system includes a robust assortment of
instrumentation specific to foot and ankle procedures including small pin
compression and distraction tools, curettes, reduction forceps as well as
straight and curved osteotomes.
